Class 0-1: Misdemeanor
Class 2-4: Felony

Emergency levels can escalate, so Guards must always be prepared in the event that they do. As an example, a Class 1 emergency can quickly turn into a Class 3 emergency. Guards may call out the class of the emergency over a communications channel as they respond to the scene to let others know what they’re coming into when they arrive on scene.

Class 0: Minor disturbance with little to no threat present. The suspect(s) involved in the listed offense have committed a crime/crimes equal to a misdemeanor. 
Class 0 Examples (Note: including but not limited to):
·         Noise complaints
·         Indecent exposure (Note: a felony if a child is present)

Class 1: Minor disturbance with minor threat. The suspect(s) involved in the listed offense are potentially dangerous, but not particularly dangerous, and have committed a crime/crimes equal to a misdemeanor.
Class 1 Examples (Note: including but not limited to):
·         Drunken disorderly conduct (includes riding/flying drunk)
·         Threats/Intimidation without a weapon or magic (Note: no injuries sustained)
·         Petty theft

Class 2: Minor disturbance with moderate threat. The suspect(s) are to be considered armed/actively endangering others and have committed a crime/crimes equal to felony status.
Class 2 Examples (Note: including but not limited to):
·         Assault with lesser offensive magic or without a weapon
·         Sale of illegal substances

Class 3: Minor disturbance with major threat or major disturbance with minor threat. The suspect(s) are to be considered armed and highly dangerous to others and/or themselves, and have committed a crime/crimes equal to felony status.
Class 3 Examples (Note: including but not limited to):
·         Grand theft (with or without a weapon/offensive magic)
·         Kidnapping
·        
·         Attempted Suicide

Extra Note: in the event of Attempted Suicide, if the individual(s) can be taken safely, they are to be kept under constant watch. Rotate watch with other Guards until the individual(s) leave custody of the Guard. They are not to be allowed to leave unless an official with sufficient authority or a trusted family member arrives to escort them away.

Class 4: Major disturbance with a major threat. The suspect(s) are to be considered highly dangerous to others, and have committed a crime/crimes equal to felony status.
Class 4 Examples (Note: including but not limited to):
·         Assault with a deadly weapon/lethal magic
·         Murder
·         Treason·   
·         Rape
